Ezgi Umut is a Milan-based spatial designer and landscape architect working across installations, set design, and temporary environments. Since graduating in 2021, she has developed a practice rooted in the production of spatial experiences, working on-site across Milan Design Week and other international events, often within multidisciplinary teams that bridge concept, production, and execution.

Her background in landscape architecture informs a particular sensitivity to materiality, atmosphere, and organic composition, which often extends into floral and spatial installations. Alongside her spatial practice, she works with painting as a parallel medium, exploring color, rhythm, and emotional landscapes through abstraction.

Ezgi holds a BSc in Landscape Architecture from Istanbul Technical University, where she received the National Best Graduation Project Award, and an MSc in Architecture and Urban Design from Politecnico di Milano. Her thesis investigated the spatial pedagogies of protest, examining how collective movements reshape public space through mapping and architectural tools.


Her work has been presented internationally, including exhibitions at Torino Art Week and Venice International Art Fair, and has been recognized through several national and international awards, including a Red Dot Design Award for the project MIRAGE with uauproject.
